DeNami Product Spotlight: Winter Wreath

DeNami Product Spotlight: Winter Wreath.
I think this stamp may be one you would see on the shelf and pass along, not knowing how you would use it.  Well, no you know there are lots of ways to dress this wreath up - check out the DeNami Blog for more ideas!

The Winter Wreath was stamped in Versamark and embossed with silver. Happy Holidays was also stamped using Versamark ink and embossed in white.  I added a little bow of twine to the top of the wreath. I seem to use this embossing folder the most lately : Circle Interlock.  The best part, it only cost me $5!  Don't forget the fun new sequins I seem to be using on atleast 1/2 of my projects now.  You can find all sorts of fun colors of sequins in Paulina's New Shop.

DeNami Razzle Dazzle Blop Hop

Welcome to the December Blog Hop - RAZZLE DAZZLE!
You should be arriving from Larissa's Blog.  If not, you might want to start at the beginning of the hop by visiting the DeNami Blog.

When I heard the blog hop this month was going to be "razzle and dazzle" I immediately knew I was going to use some pretty DeNami Glitter!  I started off my embossing the Seasons Greetings sentiment in gold.  Then  I used the elegant holly set with the Essential Glue Pad to make the leaves green and the holly red.  I added the strips of gold glittered ribbon at the bottom of the card.  I was inspired by Deb's pretty Christmas tags.
Your next stop on the hop is to visit Tenia.  I'm sure she has something Dazzly for you to see - make sure to leave her a comment and one on every blog along the way.  You have a chance to win a DeNami Gift Certificate!

DeNami Pin-Spired Christmas Card

Another fabulous inspiration photo from Pinterest.  Visit the DeNami Blog for more Pin-spired projects.

Gold- Red - and Rich Chocolate Color Combo ---- what's not to love?  I embossed the ornament trio using versarmark pad and gold embossing powder.  I added some of my new sequins that I bought from Paulina at Pretty Pink Posh.  I stamped and embossed the elegant word plate in gold. Merry Christmas was stamped using Versafine Sepia into the center of the frame. I cut the frame out and foam taped it onto the red cardstock.
I hope you are inspired to create your own Pin-Spired Project!  Christmas is only a few weeks away!

Product Spotlight: Leafy Squares

Product Spotlight: Leafy Squares

I used the smaller of the two leafy square stamps with versamark to create a gold embossed background for my wedding card.
I love sequins, but I'm a bit intimidated by them!  I don't know how to use them in a "cool" way! I tried to use them on this card, not sure about it though!

DeNami Product Spotlight: Turkey

DeNami Product Spotlight: Turkey
10% Off for one week only!

Who remembers Magic Mesh?  I've had it in my craft stash for years!! It made the perfect backdrop for my cute little turkeys.  I stamped the turkey 3 times onto cream cardstock.  Colored with copics, cut out, and foam taped on top of the cornstalks I stamped and colored.  I used the circle interlock embossing folder on the brown cardstock.... isn't it pretty?  Quick and simple, perfect fall card for anyone.

Muse Challenge #43 Snowflakes

This is the pretty inspiration  card this week at the Muse Challenge.

I was instantly inspired to stamp and emboss in white onto purple cardstock.  That is exactly what I did!  I grabbed a bunch of pretty DeNami Snowflake stamps and stamped them in versamark and embossed in white.  I added rhinestones to the centers and used my finger to dab some white ink around the snowflakes.  PTI die and accent stamp and then the Merry Christmas stamped in Versafine Grey. Matted a few times with some cardstock to look like the original card.  SO simple, I love it when my idea turns out as planned.

10 Minute Crash Dash #29

Paulina at Pretty Pink Posh has totally revamped her blog  - its FAB!  I can't wait to see what she has planned for her new store!  She has a fun new Challenge - to use buttons on a project and keep it under 10 minutes. I found a few extra minutes to play along today.

I wanted to use buttons on this card, but the more I messed with it the more I hated the multiple buttons. SO, this card has 1 single lonely button.  I stamped Holiday Cheer in versamark and embossed in white powder.  I stamped the leaves and cut them out as fast as I could and put foam tape behind them.   I was able to place them where I wanted quickly and changed my mind a few times on where they looked best.  This card looks so simple, but I think it is one of the more time consuming ones I've made for the craft dash.  I finished this card is 9 minutes and 10 seconds.

DeNami November Blog Hop: A Touch of Twine

Hopefully you just hopped here from Jennifer's' Blog --- if not you need to start at the beginning by visiting the DeNami Blog.

I was inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest that had lots of twine tied in bows. I thought it was a fun way to use the twine.  I used the circle interlock embossing folder on yellow cardstock.  This is a new one I picked up from DeNami, I love the pattern!  I tied 5 different colors of twine onto my card. I stamped the upright Happy Birthday sentiment using Deep Lagoon Versafine ink.

Have fun hopping along!!  Your next stop on the hop is to visit Tenia - I'm sure she has something fun for you to see!!

DeNami Pin-spired Project

I admit it, this photo stumped me.  I think its a great photo and all, but I couldn't figure out how to use it for inspiration on my card.  This simple Thanksgiving card idea finally came to me!

Fun, fall themed patterned paper was cut into long triangles and taped onto the kraft cardstock front.  I then added a bit of twine and tied a few little bows.  The Happy Thanksgiving was stamped in sepia inside of the orange stitched rectangle.  I noticed the Happy Thanksgiving stamp is available as a cling now too - in case you don't prefer wood mounted.  As soon as I finished the card, I realized I should have embossed the kraft cardstock to add some interest/dimension.  Maybe next time!!  I don't have patience to re-do a card, call me lazy.

DeNami Product Spotlight: Halloween Kitty

DeNami Product Spotlight: Halloween Kitty (cling)

I had to stamp the Halloween Kitty in traditional black -- he would be so cute in color though too!  I stamped it onto orange polka dot paper and cut out other patterned paper to coordinate.  I taped it all onto a purple piece of patterned paper.  Added a few rhinestones here and there to add some texture.  I stamped the Happy Halloween sentiment onto white cardstock and added some orange stitching around the edges using a marker.  5 1/2 x 5 1/2 square finished card.

10 Minute Craft Dash Challenge #28

I love Paulina's color combos she chooses for her challenges.  I just seem to run out of time to participate.  I'm on it this time!  These colors worked perfectly for a Christmas Card.  I colored the Whimsical Tree image with copics and added some red glitter to the trees and extra fine glitter to the stars. I picked this stamp because it's an "all in one" and thought it would save on time.  I used a chevron embossing folder on the turquoise layer to add some dimension.

My time was 8 Minutes and 29 Seconds.

I had a hard time taking a photo of this card. I did cut out the trees and foam taped them up to give them more dimension.

DeNami Halloween Blog Hop

Welcome to the DeNami Halloween Blog Hop!!
You should be arriving from Jennifer's Blog.  If not, you might want to start at the beginning of the hop by visiting the DeNami Blog!

I went with traditional Halloween colors for this card.  You can't go wrong with Orange, Black, Yellow, and White.  I started out by stamping the trick or treat scene onto white cardstock.  I used spellbinder dies to create the ovals.  I found the perfect sized black chip board tag and stamped a small spider web using white ink,  The patterned paper on the base of the card is old - 7 or so years ago, from Memory Box.
Hope you are having fun along the hop, make sure you leave a comment on EVERY blog for a chance to win a gift certificate from DeNami!
Your next stop is to visit Greta - I'm sure she has something fun for you to see!!

Product Spotlight: Halloween Spider Web

Product Spotlight: Halloween Spider Web

This may be a 1st for me. I ONLY used the Product Spotlight Stamp, no others!  I used Versamark ink to stamp the spider web and  white embossing powder.  I didn't want to cover up much of the spider webs so I just added some white ink around the edges and 7/8 purple grosgrain bow. Hopefully it's not too simple! It gets the job done, wishing someone a Happy Halloween.

DeNami Pin-spired

Isn't that a GORGEOUS fall bouquet.  I'm sure it was carried down the aisle by a stunning bride.  I loved the green accents up the side of the charcoal ribbon, so I tried using that on my card.

I've had this making memories embellishments for atleast 10 years - I know because I bought them when I lived in Idaho!  I guess it was time to use them finally!!  I thought the DeNami Garden Bouquet  would look great used with these fall colors.  I had a hard time coloring them though, since the picture was so pretty!  Did you know that DeNami is carrying embossing folders now?  I haven't gotten a chance to order any yet, but they have LOTS!!  Even a chevron one similar to the one I used on my card.

DeNami Product Spotlight: Pretty Paisley Set & Blog HOP

I can't believe I've never used this Paisley set before!! I was shocked when I went to stamp it, and realized it was brand new.  What have I been waiting for?!  I thought it would be a good stamp to make a masculine card, not too girl hopefully!  I stamped the paisley stamps onto the kraft cardstock.  Added a strip of washi tape to break up the stamped pattern and the circles.  I used the heartfelt greetings stamp set for the sayings. Layered the cream circles onto orange cirlces and foam taped them onto the lime green cardstock.

So I had to play along with the Muse Challenge this week - you can see Laurie's awesome card here.  Hopefully my card shows I was inspired ... and not a complete copy!  I loved the blue anchors stamped onto the coral cardstock, and how fun is that diagonal cut and sentiment?

DeNami Pin-spired Project

Are you Pin-spired by the photo? I hope so! If not, head on over to the DeNami Blog - the cards will knock your socks off!

I was slightly intimidated and didn't know where to start on this project. I loved the photo, but then I was scared when I saw photos of my fellow design team gals creations!  I didn't think I could come anywhere close. I tried!
I stamped the elegant floral wreath 3 times onto the aqua cardstock.   I colored in with copics. The white cardstock was stamped with the 3 line border and cherry pink impress ink alternated with orange washi tape.   7/8 hot pink grosgrain ribbon was tied around the card front.  I  thought I should add a sentiment, but my daughter said it was pretty the way it was.... so I left it.

DeNami Product Spotlight: Apples & Pears Stamp Set

DeNami Product Spotlight: Apples & Pears Stamp Set.

My kids have amazing teachers!  I always make sure they know how much we appreciate them.  This is a simple thank you that would work for any occasion.
I stamped the solid apple in Red Versafine and the outline apple stamped in black and colored in with green copic markers.  It looked a bit too checkerboard like so I added the elegant floral leaf sprig.  I sponged lime green around the edges too.  The Thank You banner has lime green gingham in the background and was stapled on using Red Staples.

August DeNami Blog Hop: Sweet & Simple!

You should be arriving from C'es La-Vie Designs.  If not, start at the beginning by visiting the DeNami Blog.

Normally I craft when my kids are at school.  Since they are off of school right now they helped me come up with the idea of decorating a candy bar for this blog hop. "Sweet" to them is definitely candy and ice cream!  I grabbed a full sized twix bar because I loved the pretty gold ends.  I stamped the new ornate flourish in blue onto white cardstock.  I then added the leaf image from the solid rose accent set in Champange ink.  I stamped a Thinking of you sentiment onto a white cardstock tag and tied it on with curly gold ribbon.  ATG tape is super strong so I taped the cardstock and just wrapped it around the twix... easy!!
Thanks for hopping by.  Now you get to go visit Thia!

DeNami Pin-spired #11

It's time for another Pin-Spired post.  Make sure to stop by the DeNami Blog to see the other creations made by the Design Team.

Didn't Paulina pick a super fun Citrus photo!  DeNami has a great selection of fruit stamps.  I stamped then on a diagonal and added the stitched border in between the rows. I scored a section on the white cardstock and added Happy Birthday!  I'm hoarding the gorgeous chevron ribbon, but thought it looked great on this citrus birthday card.  I know, why buy it if you aren't going to use it!

DeNami Product Spotlight BLOG HOP: Sand Castle

Welcome to the DeNami Product Spotlight: Sand Castle
I've used this pretty stamp numerous times, and it's just as cute as it was years ago.

Wendy Elliot ------you are here

I stamped the Sand Castle onto a cream circle. I stamped the seashells stamps onto a cream strip of cardstock.  I colored all of the images in using copics.  The kraft paper was embossed using an embossing folder and the big shot.  Scalloped Circle die cut layered behind the circle... easy!
