DeNami Product Spotlight: Grass Border

DeNami Product Spotlight: Grass Border

Everyone has a flower stamp -- right?  Now you need this super versatile Grass Border Stamp! It's 10% off for one week only.  I used the wavy stem trio to make my button flowers.  Stamped the stems and grass in Black Versafine and colored in with copic markers.  I glued the buttons down using Crystal Lacquer.  Do you see the Washi Tape on this card? It's hiding, but the the yellow and green polka dots are made with using washi on top of white cardstock. I layered 3/8 robins egg grosgrain ribbon in between to add texture.

10 Minute Craft Dash #12

I had today off from work - so I had time to participate in the Craft Dash #12.

I pushed the time limit on this one. 9 minutes and 27 seconds. I was nervous!
I have had this Stampin Up Patterned paper for years - it was perfect for the colors Paulina chose.  I attached the white card to the brown card base, then decided to stamp the pink polka dots. Whoops! Not normally what I would do, but I was in a hurry. I think the rhinestones on the butterfly are a little too much too, I wish I would have used glitter instead.  He looks too heavy to fly!  DeNami Stamps used: Elegant Square FrameGarden Accents stamp set. You're The Best, Polka dot butterfly,

Washi Tape Storage -- Straw Dispenser

I was so thankful when I found this straw container for 50 cents at a garage sale today. My husband has NO clue what Washi Tape is, so he thought I was crazy.  Now he gets it!! I nabbed up 2 of them, now I just need to get some more DeNami Washi Tape to fill the 2nd one up!!  No, this is not my original idea. I think I saw it on pinterest.
In case you don't have the patience to garage sale or thrift it -- I found one at Bed Bath Beyond or on Amazon.

DeNami Product Spotlight: Scallop Circle

Welcome to the DeNami Product Spotlight - Scallop Circle.

I LOVE diverse stamps... and this is a great example!
Wait till you see all of the fabulous designs that the design team has created!

I stamped the scallop circle using Black ink onto white cardstock.  I stamped the baby set into the center of each and added a congrats sentiment.  I cut each circle out and foam taped them onto the background paper.  I found this pink swirl embossed paper in my stash.  Aquamarine paper was matted behind the pink.   I added a 5/8 lime ribbon around the front of the card.  Colored in with copic markers.

DeNami Adorable Animals Blog Hop

Welcome to the DeNami Adorable Animals Blog Hop.
You should be arriving from Pattie's Blog.
If not, you can start at the beginning by visiting the DeNami Blog.

The absolute hardest part of trying to create a card for the hop was --- choosing what cute animal stamp to use!  I wanted to use a unique one, so I'm hoping 8 other people didn't choose this cute little giraffe. He fit perfectly inside of this elegant square frame.  I think this just may be one of my favorite new stamps -- you will see this again soon!   I wanted to stamp the gingham background onto the kraft paper, but I only had too light or too dark of ink pads.  I'm very happy with how it turned out.  I used Versamark Ink and Clear embossing powder.  I added a 7/8 cream bow and that's it.  4 1/4 square is the finished size.  Cardstocks used: Kraft, Cream and Celery.

DeNami Pin-spired #1

Welcome to the 1st DeNami Pin-spired Post!

I found these $1 spot doilies at Target! They worked perfectly for this challenge.  I stamped the heart flower trio circle using sepia ink, the teeny heart background was stamped using cherry pink impress onto petal pink cardstock.  I used 7/8 hot pink ribbon to create a bow and stuck some pink heart hat pins into the center of it.  I needed to fancy the card up... quickly!   I added some pretty extra fine glitter to my stamped image.

This card is also for the 10 minute craft dash over at Pretty Pink Posh.  It's a fun one --- you must use hearts on your project and complete it in under 10 minutes.  I seem to be quick and semi-simple,  I completed this one in 7 minutes 10 seconds.
I hope you have time to play along with the "Hearts" 10 minute craft dash cahllenge - you have a chance to win a $20 DeNami Gift Certificate!
