PDCC68 & 1st Scrapbook Page of the year

Okay, I'm a card maker - I like the small size and the fact that it will most likely get tossed. Scrapbooking my family photos is more pressure.  I have a whole shelf full of patterned paper and scrapbooking kits that have been collecting dust for years. The Play Date Cafe Challenge is pink and cream/kraft.  My blogging buddies Jinny and Michele posted some pretty cards today.... I felt inspired to dig into this CTMH scrapbooking kit I've been hoarding.   I found this picture of my daughter, 7 months old... 6 1/2 years ago!  Simple embellishments, quick page, but I'm proud to say this is my 1st layout of the year, and not my last!

  3. Love this dainty, girly, scrapbook page! I scrapbooked for 10 years and got burned out on it. I have many 12X12 albums completed (and many scrapbook page kits gathering dust on my shelves too!). I think if I ever get back into scrapbooking it will be mini albums, they're a lot more like cards lol!
