Craft Dash and Play Date Christmas

One Card - Two Challenges. I haven't done that in FOREVER!

Time spent on the card 8 minutes and 15 seconds.  My coloring isn't perfect... I was feeling the pressure!
I used some DeNami stamps to create a festive Christmas and New Years card -- and made sure to use a bit of pink here and there so I could play along in the Play Date Cafe Challenge. Stamps Used Christmas New Years Greeting, berry vine sprig and decorative border.

Tuesday Trigger Card

Tuesday Trigger Time! Amazing what one little picture can inspire you to create. I'm so glad I took the time to participate in this challenge.

Where have I been hiding?  I honestly don't think I've ever used gold and silver together on a card.  I normally would do Gold OR Silver... but both?  I've been missing out!!
I stamped the large ornament using versamark and embossed in gold.  I used a stamp from the ornamental centerpiece set to pretty up the ornament.  One embossed in white, and one in gold.  I used a quickie glue pen to add some shimmery glitter to the stamped image and a rhinestone center.  Merry Christmas was also stamped in versamark and embossed using gold embossing powder.

DeNami Product Spotlight: Medium Pine

It's time for the very last Product Spotlight of 2012.
It's a perfect stamp for Christmas --- Medium Pine.

I stamped the Medium Pine Tree using Versamark onto navy cardstock and embossed it with clear embossing powder. The holiday cheer sentiment was stamped in Silver and I added some teeny stars around it. I tied a bow using the silver edged ribbon around the navy cardstock and adhered it to the white card front.  Super quick and easy!
Make sure you visit the DeNami Blog to see how the other design team girls used this stamp.

DeNami Pretty Packaging Blog Hop

Welcome to the DeNami Pretty Packaging Blog Hop!
Hopefully you are arriving from Tenia's Blog.  If not, you might want to start at the beginning so you don't miss anyone!

I have had this kraft wrapping paper for years --- time to pretty it up!
I stamped snowflakes and snowmen onto the paper, then I wrapped the gift up.  I made a coordinating gift tag with the snowmen and a circle stamp/diecut.  Pretty Purple ribbon makes it girly for my 8 year old.

Your next stop on the hop is to visit Greta.
Leave comments at each stop for a chance to win one of TWO $20 gift certificates to Denami!

Ink Pads: Versafine Majestic Blue & Deep Lagoon.  SU purple for snowman on package.

10 Minute Craft Dash Challenge #7

Prize: $20 DeNami gift certificate
Colors: Sky Blue, Navy Blue, Kraft

Since Thanksgiving is in a few days, I'm onto the next holiday.  Christmas will be here before we know it! I stamped a Merry Christmas sentiment in Versafine Majestic Blue in the center of the Sky Blue Cardstock.  (I apologize that the saying is retired, I didn't realize it until I started to type up this post.) I stamped the berry vine stamp in Versafine Sepia around the saying.  This stamp is 10% off for one more day!  I used a light blue marker to fill in the leaves of the vine stamp, then used the quickie glue pen to fill in a bit, and dumped extra fine glitter over the card.  Added a bit of elegant bling.  Finished off with a navy blue 5/8 grosgrain bow.  I love these 10 minute craft dashes!  I must make a better effort to complete more of them.  A HUGE thanks to Paulina for hosting this challenge and letting me play along this week!

Time spent: 6 minutes and 24 seconds.

Thanks to DeNami Design for sponsoring the Craft Dash this week.  You could win a $20 Gift Cert.!
