I was pressed for time while creating this card, so I found inspiration and lil tid bits from my craft table.  So fun to add this and that and have a fun Birthday card come out of it.
I love the DeNami Turtle with presents... so cute!!

Wee Memories Challenge: Free For All!

This is also a BLOG HOP.  You are at the end of the hop... but you can start here if you need to.

Sponsored by Amber Ink.

I know it's not Halloween, or even close... but I fell in love with these cute little images.
I used: Bat Kid,  Mummy's Boy, and  Little Witchy.  I picked up this patterned paper in the Target $1 spot a few years ago.  It was already die cute into fun shapes, so I just added a few elements here and there.  Strung onto some spidery looking yarn to make a banner.

Wee Memories Challenge: Pinterest, Etsy Inspired Challenge

Wee Memories Challenge: Pinterest, Etsy Inspired Challenge.  Use a photo from Pinterest or Etsy to inspire a crafty project, and link up to the Wee Memories Challenge.

Sponsored by May Arts: Ribbon Prize Pack.

I just fell in love with this gorgeous cake I found on Pinterest.
My fellow design team girl - Laurie issued the Pinterest Challenge too... her challenge is open until Monday, so you can link up to her blog too.  If you are interested in following me on pinterest, you can find me: Wendy Elliot.  I'm semi new, and don't have super full boards, but I'm sure that will change!

My awesome parents will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary in a few weeks... so this card is for them.  I used the DeNami Solid Decorative Crest with white ink and white embossing powder. Used PTI dies to create the 40.  I used the inspiration photo for the ribbon treatment and addition of the flower.
Hope you get a chance to play along this week!!

Wee Memories Challenge: STICKY!

Wee Memories Scrappy Saturday Challenge: Get Sticky. Use stickers or rub ons.
Sponsored by SRM Stickers.

I chose to use the Sticker Sentiments: Congratulations set. This pink frame was screaming for some attention!! I stuck the [you're a shining star!] sticker straight onto the frame.  The Way to Go sticker was put onto white cardstock and punched out.  I also punched a few stars and layered them with some pretty rhinestones.  Perfect for my little soccer star. This is a 5x7 picture, in case you want to know the size of the stickers.

Sponsored by the Greeting Farm.   Prize: Rubber Stamp Set, Winner Chooses.

Please help us welcome our guest designers: Lea and Sarah!

I must say it is SO nice to be able to resize a digital image, and print it out so quickly.  I chose this gorgeous Summer Fairy to work with.  I couldn't wait to glitter up her wings!!  She is only $3.50 if you love her to go grab her!  I actually colored her in with copics and then went to work hunting down paper and ribbon to match. Oh boy, I don't plan on doing that again! Next time I will decide on patterned paper and THEN color.

This week is also our BLOG HOP.  SO hopefully you've found me from Vera's Blog. If not, you can go to Jenny's Blog and start there!  I am also the end of the hop.....Thanks for hopping along with us today.

Wee Memories Challenge: Paper Piecing

Wee Memories Challenge: Paper Piecing.

Sponsored by Tiffany Doodles. PRIZE: $15 Gift Certificate.

I chose this beautiful butterfly image to work with. Since it is a digi-image it was only $1.50. The best part is you can resize it to whatever size you need. I printed my butterfly out onto white paper 3 times.  My printer wouldn't allow me to use "fun" paper, so I had to work with white.  It worked out well though, I just added lots of color with my copics.  I cut out 2 full images, and then the top layer is a half of butterfly to add more dimension.  I added some pretty DeNami Extra Fine glitter with my quickie glue pen.  Attached the finished butterfly to layered yellow flowers I'd glued to a clip.  Looks great in my 6 year olds hair... she was my model. Hope you have the time to play along with us this week... you have until Friday May 13th.

Wee Memories Challenge: Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

Wee Memories Scrappy Saturday Challenge: Girls Just Wanna Have Fun. Theme: Anything Girly.

Sponsored by Magnolia-licious. The Prize this week is 3 Mini Magnolia Stamps.

Love, Love, Love the Girls Just Wanna Have Fun theme this week.  Hope you play along!!!
Spring Break this week here in Vegas.  My son spent the week at hockey camp, so my daughter and I had lots of time together.  I have had this S in my stash  for way too long... its a paper one from JoAnne's I think.  I had Saryn pick out her choice of patterned paper and a coordinating paint color.  She painted the sides of the letter all by herself. I helped glue the paper on.  She had fun choosing what flower and button to add. A little twinery twine tied by me... otherwise she did it all!  She wanted "sparkles" on it, so we added some rhinestones to each butterfly.  It is now proudly displayed in her room.

A before shot of the "s" with my sweet 6 year old daughter and 1 year old puppy. Abby is always nearby, so she had to be in the picture too.  Have a great weekend and Happy Easter!!!

Wee Memories Challenge: All Things Adorable

Wee Memories Scrappy Saturday Challenge:  "All Things Adorable".

Sponsored by Your Next Stamp. The prize this week is a stamp set.

I was given this super cute Party Fhinoa stamp to work with.  She is adorable... and perfect for the challenge this week.  I used some large paper clips that were purchased at Walmart to make some bookmarks.  I used dies and punches to create the circles and sandwiched the paper clip between.

A bit closer of a picture, I added rhinestones to her tiara and extra fine glitter to give her some sparkle.

Perfect fit on the book.  She peaks out and looks adorable while saving the spot for my daughter.

Wee Memories Challenge: Tangled up in Twine

The Twinery is the sponsor this week.  The prize is a 9 color sample pack of twine from The Twinery!

I'm in charge of making the April Teacher/Staff appreciation gifts for my children's school.  The school had these cute little pots to use up, so I planned around them.  I wanted to spray paint them white, but due to time I am leaving them green.  I purchased  See's Lollypops... hopefully a lil more special than a normal sucker would be.  A friend used her cricket to cut out the flowers.  I added a DeNami button to the center of each flower, and used my quickie glue pen to add twine around the button.  I tied 3 bows around the "stem" of the flower.  I used caribbean, pink sorbet,  lilac and lemondrop twine.

Super cute even without the pots.
This is what the back looks like.  You could sandwich another flower on the back if you wanted.
You have until Friday April 15th to make a project with Twine and add it to the Wee Memories Page.

Wee Memories Challenge: Color Inspiration

Wee Memories Scrappy Saturday Challenge:  "Color Inspiration" ... your favorite colors, pictures, anything that is your color inspiration
We would also like to welcome Nerina to the Design Team for the month of April.

This week we are sponsored by Nikki Sivils.   Prize: Paper Pack and Buttons
I was provided the It's Your Day Collection to create with.

Today is also a blog hop day for us.... so you should be arriving from Vera's Blog.  If not, you can start from the beginning at Jenny's blog.
My sweet nephew turned 1 in December, so I thought these pictures would be perfect to use with the Birthday Papers and accessories.  I used stickers, cutouts, patterned paper, journaling cards, SO many fun elements to include, I tried not to use them all!!  The only thing that isn't from Niki Sivils is the blue cardstock I used as a base, the yellow scalloped layer behind the journaling, and the twine is from The Twinery.
You are at the end of the hop now....since my parents named me "Wendy", I'm normally the end of the line... but if you want to start from the beginning --- you need to go to Jenny's Blog... where you can find all of the Design Team's creations using different lines of these fun products.
I'm also entering this page into the Paper Variety's 1-2-3 Challenge.  I used 1 Banner, 2 Brackets, and 3 Twine Bows on my Layout.  What a fun and simple challenge!!

Wee Memories Challenge: Spring is near, Green in here!

Wee Memories Scrappy Saturday Challenge --- Spring is near, Green is here!

Sponsored by AnnaBelle Stamps.

I don't plan on sending out St. Patricks Day cards this year.... so I thought cup cake toppers were the perfect way to go for this challenge.  I pulled out my DeNami St. Patricks Day stamps, stamped in black, punched out with 7/8 circle punch, matted with 3 other sized circles.  Colored in with my tombow markers.  I bought bamboo forks at Walmart to adhere the circles onto.  I just used my trusty ATG tape gun to hold them together.  I made a sentiment banner for the front one.  NO glitter, I didn't want my kids eating any.  Next time I'm making vanilla cupcakes or something I don't like, I managed to sneak and eat 2 of these yesterday!  I did share the remainder with my sweet neighbors though.  My FAVORITE color is Green and I love Spring, so I can't wait to see what you make this week!  You have until Friday the 18th to participate.

Supplies:
Stamps:  Shamrock Chickie, Happy St. Patricks Day, Curly Shamrock, Lucky Irish Stamp Set
Cardstock: Lime, Emerald, White, Black
Misc: Circle, Scallop Punches, Black Versafine Pad, Tombow Markers, ATG tape, Bamboo Forks.

Wee Memories Challenge: Woodland Friends

Wee Memories Challenge this week is "Woodland Friends" - animals you would see in the woods.  Our sponsor this week is Serendipity Stamps. I made a tall and skinny notebook for This & That, just for fun. I used the Papertrey Ink notebooks and downloaded a template for the cardstock cover.

Such a fun theme, and with my large collection of cute DeNami animals it was hard to narrow it down.  I chose to use the owl trio stamp  and the owls stamp set.  I love this Decorative Paper from Crate Paper, I've been hoarding... so proud I finally used some of it!  I decorated the front of the notebook and tied a ribbon around it to keep it closed tightly.  Small rhinestones, felt die cut, stamped circle, SU and PTI ribbon, just goodies from my stash that seemed to match the patterned paper. My 6 year old found the notebook on my desk and has claimed it as her own, so glad she liked it!

Wee Memories Challenge: United We Stamp

Wee Memories Challenge this week is: Free for all.  We are encouraging card makers to support Operation Write Home.    All of the details and information on how to donate cards can be found on the website.  There will also be a Stamp Set donated by Unity Stamp Co. for the lucky winner.

This was my 1st time using a Unity Stamp, and I must say I was impressed. I used the itty bitty set called "Adventurous". It contains a hot air balloon image and a saying.  The red cling rubber stamped perfectly and I was able to line up the saying perfectly for my "Adventure" strips.  I used the PTI cloud dies to accent all of my pretty hot air balloons.

Here is a close up shot of the cute hot air balloon stamp.  It was so easy to stamp it with a darker coordinating ink and use a few copic markers to shade the flowers.  Cut it out, add a little bit of ribbon, foam tape behind it makes it look like it's floating.  Perfect size to use on cards too.
