DeNami JUNE Inspired by: Jennifer

June Inspired by.... Jennifer.
Her original card and post can be found on her blog.

Isn't Jennifer's card SUPER fun!? I was inspired by it by using the cute little giraffe stamp and the cloudy sky embossing folder.  I used the embossing folder to make a textured blue sky - nice and soft and perfect for a baby card.  I stamped the giraffe in black and colored in with copics.  I added a cute little congrats stamp too.  Tied a bit of twine around the edge and that was it.  Make sure you visit the DeNami Blog to see the other fun cards the design team made!

10 Minute Crash Dash #29

Paulina at Pretty Pink Posh has totally revamped her blog  - its FAB!  I can't wait to see what she has planned for her new store!  She has a fun new Challenge - to use buttons on a project and keep it under 10 minutes. I found a few extra minutes to play along today.

I wanted to use buttons on this card, but the more I messed with it the more I hated the multiple buttons. SO, this card has 1 single lonely button.  I stamped Holiday Cheer in versamark and embossed in white powder.  I stamped the leaves and cut them out as fast as I could and put foam tape behind them.   I was able to place them where I wanted quickly and changed my mind a few times on where they looked best.  This card looks so simple, but I think it is one of the more time consuming ones I've made for the craft dash.  I finished this card is 9 minutes and 10 seconds.

DeNami ELEGANT Sneak Peek

It's an exciting time! Sneak Peek Time at DeNami!
Hopefully you are following along with all of the fun at the DeNami Blog.

My 1st card showcases the gorgeous peacock feathers! Aren't they stunning? I stamped them using a black memento ink and colored with copics. I went back over them with a quickie glue pen and some extra fine glitter to give them some shine.  Thank you stamped in black onto a white cardstock strip.  I tried to make a perfect line with my marker, it was a near fail, but I'm going with it anyway.

The next two Christmas cards actually use the exact same stamp, I just used it differently to show how versatile it is.  The most common way is to stamp the entire image onto white cardstock like I did below.  The above card just uses the floral image and I left off the sentiment.  I was able to mask a different Merry Christmas stamp and stamped it in red onto the white cardstock.  Added some twine and rhinestones.

How pretty are the new solid leaf images? They are BIG CLING images and stamp out so beautifully.  I chose to stamp them in fall colors and added a thinking of you sentiment. This could easily be used as a Thanksgiving or fall card if you choose.  The sentiment fits perfectly into the new Elegant Word Plate -- another one of my favorites!

I know, I always say that I love the new stamps, but I REALLY do love the new DeNami stamps this season.  Anyone have a favorite?  They are all so pretty and what a versatile and unique collection! Chickies, leaves, Christmas, Elegant, florals!!

DeNami FRESH FLORALS Blog Hop

Welcome to the DeNami MAY Fresh Florals Blog Hop.  You should be hopping from Jennifer's Blog.  If not, feel free to start at the beginning by visiting the DeNami blog.  Make sure you leave a comment on EVERY Blog for a chance to win a DeNami Gift Certificate!

I struggled with the theme of this hop -I have too many Floral DeNami images that I love!!  Choosing one was nearly impossible.  I tried to pick one I thought not too many people would use.  I chose the rosebud trio stamped in grey onto white cardstock.  I colored the flowers in with copics and added crystal lacquer to the flower portion.  I roughed up the edge of a piece of green patterned paper and adhered it to the bottom portion of the card.  I tied some twine around the card to finish it off.
Thanks for stopping by,
your next stop along the hop is to visit Barbara.

DeNami Thank You for JUGS #139

I saw this super "do-able" sketch and decided to give it a shot.

If you've read my blog for any length of time... you know I am a confessed paper hoarder.  I've had this Beautiful Blooms PaperTrey Ink Paper Pad for quite some time. I use it once in awhile, and this seemed to be the perfect sketch for layered patterned paper.   I added a quick embossed DeNami Thank you saying, rhinestones, and twine.  Quick and simple!!

Hopefully you are arriving from Shannon's Blog... if not feel free to start at the beginning by visiting The Twinery Blog!

I love twine, I normally just simply use it to tie around cardstock. I know, boring!! I tried to come up with something semi-unique.  I stamped the large DeNami Daisy in versamark and embossed with white embossing powder.  Then I added some ATG tape into the center of each flower and spun some Twine into the center. Quick, Simple, Adds a little fun and lots of color!  I added the Hello Friend sentiment to finish it off.
I'm the last stop on the hop!!!

Wee Memories Challenge: Tangled up in Twine

The Twinery is the sponsor this week.  The prize is a 9 color sample pack of twine from The Twinery!

I'm in charge of making the April Teacher/Staff appreciation gifts for my children's school.  The school had these cute little pots to use up, so I planned around them.  I wanted to spray paint them white, but due to time I am leaving them green.  I purchased  See's Lollypops... hopefully a lil more special than a normal sucker would be.  A friend used her cricket to cut out the flowers.  I added a DeNami button to the center of each flower, and used my quickie glue pen to add twine around the button.  I tied 3 bows around the "stem" of the flower.  I used caribbean, pink sorbet,  lilac and lemondrop twine.

Super cute even without the pots.
This is what the back looks like.  You could sandwich another flower on the back if you wanted.
You have until Friday April 15th to make a project with Twine and add it to the Wee Memories Page.
