OTWC #46 & Get Sketchy #75

This card uses the colors from Off The Wall Craftiness Challenge #46 and layout from Get Sketchy #75.  Day two of sick kids and sick mom at my house. With a pounding head I've felt unproductive and HAD to make something cheerful and bright today.  I was happy to see the colors for OTWC were perfect, and Get Sketchy had an easy sketch to work with.  I even whipped out my sewing machine for this one.  I need to leave it out so I use it more often.  Do I need to back stitch on paper?  It's not like it's going to get washed or anything.  Just curious as to what the "right" thing to do with paper is.  This quite possibly be the 1st time I've used a doily on a card too.... amazing, I know!  I used the pretty DeNami Decorative Crest Circle for my focal point, and blinged it up with some pretty rhinestones and a saying from PTI.  Hope you all have a great weekend, it's a 3 day weekend for the kids.  We are off to Palm Springs in the morning, as long as we can are all semi-healthy.

Get Sketchy #52 & Wee Memories #19

3rd Challenge card of the afternoon --- see how productive I can be when my kids are away!  This one is for Get Sketchy #52 - card sketch and Wee Memories #19 -something sweet & with ribbon.  I flipped the Get Sketchy sketch on the side.  I just couldn't find the right stamp to "hang" - so I improvised.  I used one of my favorite DeNami stamps - the ice cream cone.  Basic Grey Patterned Paper... Yellow Ribbon from a yard sale.  Fun, Simple, and perfect for a birthday wish!

Papertrey Paper Dolls & Get Sketchy #51

This card uses the Get Sketchy Sketch #51.  This card fell together in minutes since I had a great sketch & color idea too. Inspiration was from a card that Dawn made and is the challenge at the Papertrey Paper Dolls Challenge #17.  I didn't have anything from the July release, so I used something I bought and hadn't used yet.  The Color Couture Vol. 4-6 from a few months back.

Get Sketchy #37 - DeNami Thank You

The Get Sketchy sketch this week has a perfect way to use buttons, SO I had to give it a try.  As always, I am trying to use some of my patterned paper up - this is some fun glittery embossed paper from DCWV Whimsy Stack I bought last spring at JoAnn's.  Oh, and I love the way the ribbon looks like a sun behind the circles... so FUN!

Supplies:
Stamps: DeNami Thank You Circle, Double Circle, Flower from the Easter Sunday Set.
Cardstock: PTI Melon Berry & New Leaf
Patterned Paper: DCWV Whimsy Stack
Misc: DeNami Buttons & PTI Satin Ribbon, Quickie Glue Pen & Extra fine glitter. Marvy Scalloped Circle Punch.
