Andrea always makes gorgeous cards, but I was really taken by the one's she made for the CR84FN Color Challenge #15 this week. She has been crocheting the prettiest flowers. I can't crochet, but I just happened to have this pretty teal flower that coordinated with the colors this week. I embossed the polka dot background from PTI with Versamark and clear embossing powder. I layered some DeNami buttons for the center of the flower and hand cut the leaves from some grosgrain ribbon that matched perfectly.
I used a strip of vellum for my PTI sentiment, thanks for the inspiration Papertrey Ink -- the new Make It Monday video's are so fun!

ReplyDeleteThis is so awesome with the embossed polka dots! My Mom has tried to teach me to crochet and she crowned me hopeless. She also said tiny little embellishments like this are a lot of work. Beautiful card and great way to bring the colors together!
