DeNami Simply Scallops Blog Hop


Welcome to the January DeNami Blog Hop -- Simply Scallops.  Such a fun and diverse theme, I can't wait to see what other participants make.  I'm sandwiched right in between two of my fellow DeNami DT members... so hopefully you've just came from Ayana's Blog and if not, you can start from the beginning at the DeNami Blog.

I made a bunch of cards in December, and this fun scalloped button border was left on my table.  I thought it was a perfect start to my scalloped themed card.  The Whimsical Oval Frame  is a perfect fit around the turtle with presents stamp. Amethyst cardstock was stamped with the medium polka dot stamp using Versamark.  I used the double embossed border punch to create the scalloped border and added DeNami buttons.

Stamps: Whimsical Oval Frame, Medium Polka Dots, Turtle with presents.
Cardstock: Amethyst, White, Lime.
Ink: Versafine Imperial Purple, Versamark, Versafine Black.
Misc: Double Embossed Border Punch, Tombo Markers, Scalloped Oval Punch, DeNami Buttons.

    I love that oval stamp and never really noticed it before. It works great with the scalloped oval punch. Another stamp on my wish list. I like the buttons, the color combo and that large scalloped punch. Thanks for sharing your work.

    Oh, Wendy, this is so cute! I knew as soon as I saw the Medium Polka Dot Border and Whimsical Oval Frame in the release that I wanted them, but now I know I NEED them. The buttons are too cute, too. Your coloring perfectly matches the buttons! LOVE it!
