DeNami Curtain Call: Love Letter Challenge

I went classic red and white with this card. I wanted to use the pretty love flourish stamp. It fit perfectly inside of the whimsical oval frame.  I used a small hole punch to add holes around the frame to make it look more like a doily.  Added lots of red touches with twine, washi tape, and heart background. I also added glitter to the frame and inside of the heart.

DeNami Pin-spired Project

I was slightly intimidated and didn't know where to start on this project. I loved the photo, but then I was scared when I saw photos of my fellow design team gals creations!  I didn't think I could come anywhere close. I tried! 

I stamped the elegant floral wreath 3 times onto the aqua cardstock.   I colored in with copics. The white cardstock was stamped with the 3 line border and cherry pink impress ink alternated with orange washi tape.   7/8 hot pink grosgrain ribbon was tied around the card front.  I  thought I should add a sentiment, but my daughter said it was pretty the way it was.... so I left it.  

Product Spotlight: Elegant Oval Frame

I stamped the Elegant Oval frame onto white cardstock using black ink.  I colored in with a copic marker and added extra fine glitter with a quickie glue pen.  Foam taped onto some Washi Tape strips that I made using more white cardstock.  Dry embossed kraft cardstock layered onto white card base.  I added a happy birthday sentiment. Quick, easy, simple, and perfect to wish almost anyone a Happy Birthday!

I've been waiting for the perfect time to spruce up this boring white frame The time has come! I added some Super fun Teal Chevron Washi Tape to the lower half.  I layed the frame on grid paper - which helped me eyeball so it would be straight across. 

I didn't want to take away from the cute picture of my daughter and dog.... but thought the frame needed a little bit more than just the washi tape.  I stamped a flower and 2 leaves from the new Whimsical Garden Cling Set.  I used crystal lacquer on the flower & leaves and also to attach the aqua button to the center.

I've never used washi tape... until today... and I'm loving it!!  DeNami has an amazing collection of it -- check it out!!

The washi tape I used: pink chevron, teal chevron, and black stripes directly onto a white card.  I added black 5/8 grosgrain ribbon.   Upright Thank You sentiment stamped in black onto the white card base.  I used a corner rounder on the upper right corner.  Literally, you could recreate this card in under 5 minutes, but it's perfect for a quick thank-you.
