DeNami Product Spotlight: Flower Box Window

  I used a sage cardstock base stamped with a line to make it look like siding on a house.  The flower box stamp was stamped using black ink onto kraft cardstock. I cut out the windows and added column vellum paper behind it.  I also stamped the flower box window onto purple cardstock and cut it out and foam taped it over my bunch of flowers. The little flower is from the spring flowers set.   I added  a lavender scalloped border with rhinestones to the top. Houndstooth background was stamped in versamark and embossed using white powder.

I wanted to showcase the pretty Easter Blessings sentiment off. So I chose to leave the bunnies and eggs of of this card.  I framed it with the elegant square frame.  Added a few coordination buttons, and a few stamps, EASY! 

Supplies: Cardstock- Aquamarine, Lavender, Petal Pink and White.

Ink: Jade Brillance, Spring Pansy,  Pixie Dust Versamagic,

Stamps: Easter Blessings, Elegant Square Frame, berry wreath,  garden accents.

This card could easily be used for any occasion, but since we are celebrating DeNami's Birthday, I chose to use the Happy Birthday sentiment.  I love lime green, so I stamped the large bamboo leaf  using Versacolor Lime onto Lime Cardstock and cut each leaf out. I used Smoky Gray Versafine to stamp the three line border onto white cardstock.  Rhinestones accent the sentiment just a touch.

DeNami inspired by Pinterest-- Pin-spired

I Love Pinterest!  So obviously I love these new Pin-spired projects!

I stamped the Happy St. Patricks Day saying 5 times using different colors of green - obviously inspired by the photo.  I added a shamrock border using the Lucky Irish Set and curly shamrock. There is also gingham background stamped lightly with the shamrocks.  I used the stitched border stamp with the Essential Glue Pad & Extra Fine Glitter to add some sparkle like the frosting!   Finished off with a bit of 3/8 lime grosgrain ribbon.

I tried my hardest to add buttons, or something round to the top, but I just couldn't make it look balanced.  Hope this card is close enough.  I am trying to use up some older patterned paper, so I can buy "new"! This is basic grey patterned paper, paired with a PTI saying and Denami  intertube chick.  

I'm thinking this card would work for a boy, pre-teen age. SUCH a hard age to make cards for, in my opinion.

I had a hard time just using Laurie's card for inspiration, I wanted to recreate it!  I used the same kraft card base, and embossed some big hero arts flowers in white.  I used a martha stewart punch to create the peach colored strips, PTI die for the tag, PTI black satin ribbon, and DeNami Birthday Blessing Stamp.
