My 1st card uses a new Poinsettia Vine Stamp Set.  I used the large and small stamp to create some patterned paper.  I colored it and added a quick bow.  I didn't want to cover up those gorgeous new stamps!!

DeNami Product Spotlight: Surfboard Trio

 The design team did a fabulous job using these fun surfboards!  I wanted to show you a different way to use them, just to show versatility.  I made a flower! It was super easy to stamp the surfboards, cut them out, arrange them around the yellow center. Easy!!  I added the pretty Birthday Blessings Sentiment.  

ColourQ & Papercraft Star Challenges

I love the Colors of  ColourQ #141. 

I needed to make my hubby a Father's Day card... so these colors were perfect!

I started with a lime green card base and added 3 panels of polka dot blue paper.  Distressed the edges and white embossed the Palm Tree. The white cardstock strip has a faint chevron stamped in Blue.  I added the Happy Fathers Day saying in Majestic Blue Versafine.  A quick button and twine finish it off nicely.

This card is also for the Papercraft Star Chalellenge: Fathers Day.

Not sure why guy cards are tough sometimes... maybe it's because I want to add glitter, rhinestones, ribbon and fluff!! I tried my best to keep this Happy Birthday card very "GUYish"

I stamped the chevron stamp from the Medium Borders set once and then twice more above and below to get the lighter/darker shades using only the Versafine Sepia ink.  I stamped Happy Birthday in Versamark ink and embossed with white embossing powder.   The nautical stamps were stamped using Versafine Majestic Blue.  Cardstock used: Kraft, Chocolate Brown, White, Navy.

I stamped the medium polka dot background using Jade Brilliance ink.  A quick little umbrella drink from the  tropical drinks set. Cheers sentiment is from the Everyday Greetings Set. Colored in with copics, added extra fine glitter with the quickie glue pen.  I had this hot pink polka dot ribbon I bought in the $1 at Michaels, it seemed to work good with the challenge!  

Happy Summer to everyone!! My kids are out of school --- time to play!

DeNami Color Challenge #10

Welcome to the DeNami Color Challenge -- colors chosen by me.  Hope you like them!

Black -Yellow - White - Grey

Hope you have a chance to make something-  excited to see what creations are made with these fun colors!

I had the yellow frame laying on my craft table... so that was my starting point of the card.  I wanted to stamp a pretty black background, but it was missing something so I went back and added some grey stamping too.  Perfect general neutral card for an Anniversary.  My 12th Anniversary is in a few days, so this card is perfect for my hubby!

Ink: Versafine Black and Smoky Grey. 

Cardstock: White, Black Yellow & Silver

Misc: Twine, Yellow Die Cut shape made with Silhouette.

Just Us Girls Sketch Challenge JUGS #139

I saw this super "do-able" sketch and decided to give it a shot.

If you've read my blog for any length of time... you know I am a confessed paper hoarder.  I've had this Beautiful Blooms PaperTrey Ink Paper Pad for quite some time. I use it once in awhile, and this seemed to be the perfect sketch for layered patterned paper.   I added a quick embossed DeNami Thank you saying, rhinestones, and twine.  Quick and simple!!
