Sketch, Color & Theme Challenge

My card layout uses Retro Sketch #13. 

Color Challenge over at CR84FN #55.

I love this Denami lilac stamp. Possibly every time I see a color challenge with purple and green --- I grab this or pansies.  Hope you aren't sick of seeing it!  If you "need" the stamp --- it's on sale for less than $10!  I hope everyone is having a fun and relaxing Memorial Day.  We stayed home this weekend, it's nice to get relax and get caught up on "stuff".

Mother's Day cards are easy.... Father's Day a bit more challenging for me!  

I stamped the Sports Balls stamps onto white cardstock and colored in with copics. 

Happy Father's Day is stamped in Black onto Kraft cardstock. Layered with black and golden tangerine.

Perfect card for a sporty man!!  You could easily exchange the ball images for fish, plaid, golf, etc.  

DeNami Pretty Pastels BLOG HOP

Pastels are not normally what I gravitate too, so this was a bit of a challenge. Pink and lavender seemed to be an easy color combo... so I went with that!  I stamped the large hibiscus stamp in lavender and pink onto the white cardstock base.  The Rectangle scalloped frame and Happy Belated Birthday was stamped onto pink cardstock and layered onto a PTI diecut shape. I added extra fine glitter using a quickie glue pen.  I added 2 strips of retired DeNami ribbon onto the card front.   Thanks for hopping by.

I love twine, I normally just simply use it to tie around cardstock. I know, boring!! I tried to come up with something semi-unique.  I stamped the large DeNami Daisy in versamark and embossed with white embossing powder.  Then I added some ATG tape into the center of each flower and spun some Twine into the center. Quick, Simple, Adds a little fun and lots of color!  I added the Hello Friend sentiment to finish it off.

DeNami Product Spotlight: Small Congratulations.  Lots of great ideas at the DeNami Blog... graduation, wedding and all occasion cards.

I actually haven't been to a wedding in a few years... I think we all go through stages of lots of weddings, lots of babies.  I'm in the lots of birthday party stage with my kids!   This saying is perfect for any occasion, graduation and weddings.

DeNami Sketch Challenge #12

Everyone has a birthday... so I'm always needing birthday cards.  I love this older Birthday Cake image, it works perfectly with the newer birthday stamps.  I'm having fun using all of the fabulous Twine colors... quick way to add a little pizazz! 

Supplies:
Stamps Birthday Cake, Happy Birthday, Birthday Celebration Set 1. and Basic Borders Set.

Ink: Versacolor Lime, Versafine Black, Cherry Pink Impress.

Cardstock: White, Lime,  and Magenta. 

Misc: 5/8 Hot Pink Ribbon,  Twine, Scalloped Border Punch, Foam Tape.
