I just fell in love with this gorgeous cake I found on Pinterest.

My awesome parents will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary in a few weeks... so this card is for them.  I used the DeNami Solid Decorative Crest with white ink and white embossing powder. Used PTI dies to create the 40.  I used the inspiration photo for the ribbon treatment and addition of the flower.

I love this pretty Daisy Vines Paper from DeNami, I paired it with the Pink Paisley paper.  I paper pieced Mimi's Umbrella and rain boots with the pink paisley paper also.  I tried to keep it super simple, so the patterned paper wouldn't be covered up. Just added a simple blue bow at the bottom.

I chose to use the Sticker Sentiments: Congratulations set. This pink frame was screaming for some attention!! I stuck the [you're a shining star!] sticker straight onto the frame.  The Way to Go sticker was put onto white cardstock and punched out.  I also punched a few stars and layered them with some pretty rhinestones.  Perfect for my little soccer star. This is a 5x7 picture, in case you want to know the size of the stickers.

Seriously the cutest little octopus I've ever seen!  I wanted to make him shine, so I coated him with Crystal Lacquer, he looks like he is wet.  I thought it would be a perfect card for a kid... so I went with cheerful bright colors. Kept it simple with some polka dot stamping and buttons. This stamp is 10% Off, so go grab him if you love him!

Welcome to the END of the Hop - hope you've enjoyed all of the Girlie Girl Creations this month.  I can't wait to hop along.  Today is Mother's Day - So I'd like to wish all of the mom's a Happy Mother's Day.  Today is also my son's 9th Birthday.  Happy Birthday Kasen!!  I'm lucky enough to have my mom visiting too, so we get to spend the day together.
SO Easy to do a Girlie Girl card when you have such cute images to choose from... I had to use these super fun Spa Girls.  I just love adding crystal lacquer and glitter to the foot baths, look so much better in real life.  Polka dot background was stamped using Cherry Pink impress ink on to the Magenta cardstock.

I must say it is SO nice to be able to resize a digital image, and print it out so quickly.  I chose this gorgeous Summer Fairy to work with.  I couldn't wait to glitter up her wings!!  She is only $3.50 if you love her to go grab her!  I actually colored her in with copics and then went to work hunting down paper and ribbon to match. Oh boy, I don't plan on doing that again! Next time I will decide on patterned paper and THEN color.

DeNami Sketch Challenge #8

It's time for another fun DeNami Sketch Challenge.  I tried to make it fairly simple so everyone would want to play along.... so excited to see what you do with the sketch!  Also, a warm welcome to Dana... she is joining the DeNami Design team for the month of May.

3 of us Design Team girls used the same sentiment this month.... hello friend. So I changed mine to a Thank-You just to give you a different saying to look at.  Great minds think alike!!  I love these pretty little shells, so I went with soft sea colors... sand, water, shells, I love the beach!
