WPlus9 Color Cue Challenge #6

Dawn picked fabulous colors - too bad I somehow managed to pick a pinker tone.  Oh well, we'll blame it on my blonde hair, or my photography skills.   I used the Woodgrain Silhouettes and Additions stamp sets to make my card.  These sets work fabulously together... love how versatile they are!  I felt like embossing so I embossed all of my images using Versafine Sepia Ink.  Yep, if you are fast - it will work.  I actually cut everything out too - not something I normally do.  I had to add some bling to the butterflies so I used DeNami Strawberry Freeze glitter.  I tried to find a "kraft" color ink in my stash - the closest I could find was PTI Chamomile.  Anyone have one that is a closer match?  I made a few Halloween cards this morning - I was VERY rusty!  I haven't made a card in almost a month!

  2. Well, you don't look rusty at all! This is beautiful! I love how you cut out your image and explained how you went about the embossing. You don't own Kraft??? I thought PTI had one? I use Stampin' Up. It's on of my faves!!! The pinkier tone looks great. And Halloween cards....my favorite holiday!

  9. Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmm - can I just say.... You're FINE! These colors WORK and your card is EXCELLENT! Sometimes it's so hard to interpret what we see in the swatch, what we have in our stash and WHAT the other gals do... For my money - YOU NAILED IT! This card is breath taking! Thank you SO much for sharing your fine talent with the Color Cue!
