DeNami: Product Spotlight = Nuts About You Stamp Set

What do you think about this cute little set?  It wasn't on the top of my wish list, but now I'm SO glad to have it! The little squirrel is adorable, but I was trying to make a masculine Valentine card so I left him off of it.  I feel like the red/brown/cream combo is perfect for my guy.  My sweet hubby of almost 13 years!

I stamped the new houndstooth background using Versafine Sepia ink.  I used the nuts & saying from the Nuts About you set in the center of the oval frame.  I stamped the nuts again for the background and added a little red circle from the Garden Accents Stamp Set. Washi tape was used to break up the patterns on the background paper.  Cardstock used: Kraft, Red, Cream, Chocolate.

I'm excited to see what other ways WASHI was used! Such a fun and affordable craft item!

I've been waiting for the perfect time to spruce up this boring white frame The time has come! I added some Super fun Teal Chevron Washi Tape to the lower half.  I layed the frame on grid paper - which helped me eyeball so it would be straight across.
I didn't want to take away from the cute picture of my daughter and dog.... but thought the frame needed a little bit more than just the washi tape.  I stamped a flower and 2 leaves from the new Whimsical Garden Cling Set.  I used crystal lacquer on the flower & leaves and also to attach the aqua button to the center.
Thanks for stopping by!
Your next stop on the Hop is to visit Donna.

The Berry Wreath is probably more of a "garden" themed stamp than it is "western"  but I thought it was a perfect accent for these cute little southwest & cowboy stamps.  Who loves houndstooth?  SO excited to have this stamp -- you "need" it too!!

Howdy!  I used the Gingham Background stamp to create the red pattern and black/white washi tape next to the Howdy! Sentiment.  The Cowboy Chickie was stamped in the middle of a horseshoe frame I made.  Simple, but this card would work for any occasion.  I thought a little boy would love to get a card like this for a birthday... or just to say Howdy!

If you've been around in DeNami land for awhile, you've seen me use the ripped kraft paper look to make sand -- I thought it would be perfect to make a dirt scene with for the Cowboy Chickie.   I stamped the Cactus Trio, Cowboy Chickie, Southwest Stamp Set, & Main Street Shops onto Cream cardstock and cut them all out.  Colored with copics/tombow markers.

I saved my favorite for last. I love the background paper I stamped.  I used the Berry Wreath to create the red circles and added the horseshoe & sheriffs badge from the Cowboy Stamp Set into the centers.  The cowboy chickie is standing in front of the cactus trio saying Howdy to ya'all!  I added the gingham background using Red Versafine onto the cream cardstock.  5/8 Red Grosgrain Ribbon breaks up the patterns and I added knots to the sides of the scalloped circle.  Colored in using Tombow & Copic Markers.
