Sneak Peek - DeNami Outer Space

It's finally time for the Outer Space Sneak Peak!!   I made these cards weeks ago, so it feels so good to finally be able to share them.  Today Lisa and I have a few space inspired cards to show you.  Make sure to visit Lisa's Blog and the DeNami Blog to see all of the other sneak peek cards.

All brand new stamps from DeNami were used on both of my cards..... aren't they adorable?  My 1st card showcases the friendly robot, and 2 stamps from the outer space petit four set.  I had so much fun stamping the moon and planet to make this cheerful background paper.  Did you catch the sneak peek of the new ribbon colors?  Well, this gorgeous turquoise ribbon is one of those colors - I had to refrain myself from using it and the purple on every card I made! I added some DeNami lime buttons to each side of the robot, just to add some detail and draw your eye to him. Super easy, super cute!!

My second card was inspired by a card I found while browsing Splitcoaststampers.  So, I must give credit to the original designer.  I used some DeNami Circle stamps to create some spots on the moon, but when I used the glue pad with the citrone glitter, the spots faded away.  Cute Idea though!  The falling star stamp is another one from the Outer Space petit four set.  I stamped it in white ink and then added citrone glitter with my quickie glue pen.  All of the DeNami chicks are cute, but how adorable are these Space Chickies?  The rocket ship just dropped them off to do some exploring.  The trail behind the rocket is actually the steam curl from the espresso line of stamps.  Works perfectly behind vehicles.  I'm pretty sure the robot is my favorite stamp, closely followed by the rocket stamp.  Just in case you wanted to know.  Any favorite new stamps on your wish list?

DeNami Winter Evergreen Tree

DeNami Featured Product - Winter Evergreen Tree.
I love versatile stamps - especially this gorgeous Winter Evergreen Tree from DeNami.  I've seen it used as a Fruit Tree, Flowering Tree, Just a plain old tree, Christmas Tree, Bare Tree, Halloween, Owls/Birds sitting on it.... just to name a few!  I wanted to make a Pine Tree, so I paired the tree with the Classic Christmas Stamp Set.  The set has a holly leaf, berries, pine cone, and tree branch.  I used 3 of the stamps on this card.  The falling snow is actually the berry stamped in glue pad and extra fine glitter on top. I love the look of ripped paper and a touch of glitter on the edge.... that is how I made the snowbanks for the tree to sit in.

Stamps: Classic Christmas Stamp Set, Winter Evergreen Tree.
Cardstock: White, Sage, KraftBrown.
Ink: Versafine SepiaVersafine Olympia Green and Glue Pad.
Misc: Quickie Glue Pen, Extra Fine Glitter, Brown Copic Marker.

DeNami TAG Blog Hop

Welcome to the DeNami Blog Hop!!  I am 1st on the list, so hopefully you came directly from the DeNami Design Blog.
I chose to make a Christmas Tag, since I am in need of some for a few gifts.  I love the cute little penguin stamp, so that is where I started.   Red/Turquoise/White is such a fun color combo.  I had to use some pretty turquoise felt with my new PTI dies... adds such nice texture.
Your Next Stop along the hop is my fellow DeNami DT girl, super talented, and one of the most gracious commenters out there --- Michele Gross.

Cardstock: White, Red, PTI Turquoise
Misc: DeNami Button, Red 5/8 Ribbon, Twine, Tombow Markers, Scallop Punch, PTI die & felt, Extra fine Glitter, Quickie glue pen.

Jen's Ink Spot - Jen makes the most FUN rings with buttons.  She doesn't stop there though, she has a really clean and eye catching style that she captures in awesome photos.

This-n-That - Not sure how I found Gretchen.... but I'm happy I did.  I feel we have a similar "style" of cards, so maybe that's why I'm drawn to her creations. :-) She also takes beautiful photos and makes other "fun" stuff.

Work in Progress - I found Andrea's blog when I was looking through Play Date Cafe's color challenge.  She managed to make grey, brown, and silver look good together, I didn't even try!  Oh, and the gift tags she made recently inspired me to make some for my Christmas gifts this year.

OTWC Challenge #36 has some amazing colors this week.  I just had to play along.  I loved this card that Amy made, and I just couldn't keep my mind off it... so my card is definitely a CASE of hers.  Thanks Amy! I used some of my favorite DeNami stamps and added some ribbon, buttons, and glitter. Done in under 15 minutes!!!  I'm off to spend the afternoon volunteering in the Holiday Shop at my kids school. So fun to see what they purchase for friends/family.

DeNami Challenge -- Punches

The Challenge on the DeNami blog is to use punches..... easy!  I love using punches, circles, scallops, borders oh my!   When I worked at the stamp show a few months back I remembered seeing some cute ornaments that Nami had made.  So, I tried to recreate some for my tree.
I used the pretty and versatile Leafy Vine Wreath.  Stamped and Embossed with Silver Embossing Powder.  I punched it out using the purple marvy punch and folded it in half.  Then I used the yellow marvy punch to punch out the center.  I did this 8 times and used my ATG gun to hold the layers together.  On my last layer I sandwiched in some ribbon and I was done.  Very inexpensive little gift to give, or put on top of a gift.   If you would like to participate in the challenge, you just need to use a punch and a DeNami Stamp --- $25 DeNami Gift Certificate to the lucky winner!!
Stamp: Leafy Vine Wreath
Cardstock: Navy, Amethyst
Punches: Yellow and Purple Marvy Scalloped Circle Punches.
Misc: Ribbon, Silver Pad, Silver Embossing Powder, Heat Tool.

Blue Christmas - Wee Memories Challenge

DeNami Design is sponsoring the Wee Memories Challenge this week.  The lucky winner will receive a $25 Gift Certificate to DeNami.  Holiday Music is the theme this week.  I Googled Popular Christmas songs and found "Blue Christmas" by Elvis.  I paired the navy blue cardstock with the metallic silver paper. Such an elegant color combo.  I had fun glitzing up the Leafy Tree Scene with glitter & rhinestones.  I don't emboss very often, I'd forgotten how amazing the DeNami embossing powder is.  Such detail, it melts perfectly and is SO shiny.  Hope you get a chance to play along, I'm excited to see what other songs can be used as inspiration.
