Still loving the Glitter Ribbon

Today I have one more DeNami card using the new floral images.   Black, silver, and white... perfect combo for a wedding card.  I used the ultimate glue pad and silver glitter on the silver cardstock.  Black ink and extra fine glitter on the oval shape.  One silver rhinestone & silver glitter ribbon finishes it off.  For the background stamp I used the elegant floral blossom and the elegant floral arch stamp for the main image.

Elegant DeNami Floral Card

Yikes this is an awful picture... I think the card base is actually navy, but it sure looks like black.  Oh well, you can see the pretty stamped portions, sparkly ribbon and bling... that's what counts anyway-right?
I love the glitter ribbon that DeNami carries.... such a fun way to add texture and sparkle to your card.  I used the silver here.... along with some extra fine glitter and silver rhinestones.  No need for coloring, so this is a quickie.   Focal image is the Elegant Floral Circle, and the image on the white strip is the elegant floral blossom - both from DeNami Designs.

Put your sunglasses on... this one is bright!

I don't exactly know what kind of mood I was in when I created this card - but it is bright!  Turquoise, Purple, Tangerine Cardstock & Hot Pink ribbon - all from DeNami.  I absolutely adore these new floral stamps, I could probably use them on almost every card!  I added some Xtra fine glitter to accent the flowers, and then a touch of bling with rhinestones for the center. The focal image I used is the elegant floral circle.  The elegant floral vine is stamped in Versafine Purple along the side of the card base... just to add some texture.  I have a few more cards using these same stamps... I'll post them tomorrow.  Thanks for stopping by, I feel like most of my blogging friends are at CHA.... yep, I'm a little jealous.

DeNami Sketch Challenge - Jenny

I must give credit to my daughter for this card. She just turned 6 a few weeks ago.  I let her stamp with me, and she made the card below.  I LOVE how she thought to stack the cheerleading chicks up into a pyramid.  I told her I thought it was such a good idea, and she looked at me like -duh? That is how they do it on tv.  Silly mom.
Jenny chose a great sketch for us to use - so go ahead and join us!!

Stamps: Cheerleader Chickie, All Star Greeting Set.
Cardstock: Lime, Magenta, Tangerine, Aquamarine, White.
Ink: Versafine Black, Cherry Pink Impress
Misc: 5/8 hot pink grosgrain ribbon, harvest button, rhinestone, extra fine glitter, quickie glue pen, twine, tombow markers.

Birthday Wishes for Paulina

Today is my friend Paulina's Birthday.  Stop by her blog and wish her a Happy Birthday! She loves pink, so I had to make her a pink card... with polka dots too!  This card is inspired by Dawn's card on page 43 of the July/Aug. Paper Crafts magazine.  I finally received my Papertrey Ink Anniversary Set on July 1st, so I was excited to get it inked up. I've seen so many great samples with it, I waited patiently for it to arrive.

DeNami Color Challenge #3- Laurie

DeNami Color Challenge #3 - by Laurie.  This color challenge was a tough one for me.  For some reason I just have a hard time putting red and pink together.  I think my card finally turned out okay, but this was a challenge for sure!! I'm excited to see what other people can do with these colors, and make it look so easy!  $25 DeNami Gift Certificate is up for grabs... so get inky!  Notice the lady bug on the center of the bow?  That is a pink button with a ladybug circle.  Looks like a cute little brad.  One of my new "fads" is finding small stamps I can fit onto a button.

DeNami Supplies:
Stamps: Bitty Bugs, Grass out of the Easter Set, wavy stem trio.
Cardstock: Red, Lime, Strawberry Freeze, and Cream
Ink: Versafine Black, Lime
Misc: Red Buttons, Bubblegum Buttons, 5/8 Red Grosgrain Ribbon, Quickie Glue Pen, Extra Fine Glitter, Tombow Markers

2 Sketches 4 You #55 and Paper Dolls Challenge #11

I've missed participating in challenges this summer, so today I was able to make one card for two challenges. 2 Sketches for you - Laura's Sketch #55.  Paper Dolls Challenge #11  to make a card using a non-standard card size. This card is 5 1/2 by 5 1/2 Square.  I really like this color combo, so I was excited when Papertrey made this Beautiful Blooms paper. Used some die cuts and felt. Easy, fun card, no stamping on this one!
We have had our puppy now for 2 weeks. This photo was taken on my daughters 6th birthday.  10 Week old puppy - we named her Abby.  We love her to pieces!!
